 Research Experience

Synthesis of some new calix[4]crown ethers, calix[4] thiacrown ethers, calix[4] azacrown ethers, and some Schiff base crown ethers. The supramolecular properties of these compounds as potential hosts for a wide variety of guests such as metal cations, amines, amino acids, and fullerenes are investigated.
